- Proposed “MULE,” a novel unsupervised algorithm for single-cell transcriptomics to identify mutually exclusive gene programs without clustering.
- Identified a new pathological cardiomyocyte subpopulation in DCM and validated that taurine supplementation improves cardiac function in mice.

- Developed “GAIA,” an information-geometry-based representation learning algorithm for geometric modeling and analysis of cell states on manifolds.
